Earning CEUs with NAMASNAMAS understands that continuing education is essential to your role. As part of our membership offerings, NAMAS provides CEU opportunities through its weekly webinars. Here, you'll find information about how you can earn CEUs via our webinar presentations. Webinars Included with Your Membership As a NAMAS member, you'll receive access to live webinar training sessions. Your membership level determines the number of webinars you receive:
Generally, webinars are presented live every Tuesday at 2:00pm Eastern and last for one hour.
How to Register for Webinars That Are Included with Your Membership There are two ways you can register for the webinars that are included with your membership: 1. Via Our Monthly Webinar Invitation Emails Every month (during the last week of the month), you'll receive an email inviting you to register for next month's live webinar sessions. Within this email are links to register yourself for the webinars included with your membership. This email will identify which sessions are/are not included with your membership. If there is a webinar outside of your included presentations that you are interested in attending, you will receive a 50% discount on the purchase price of that session. To ensure that you receive these monthly webinar invitations, please make sure that we have the most current email address on file for you. 2. Via Our Webinar Library Links to register for upcoming webinar sessions are also made available within our Webinar Library. To access, navigate to the Webinar Library section of the membership platform (Upon logging into the membership portal, hover over the 'Webinar Library' section from the horizontal teal menu). Select the webinar library page for your specific membership level, and there you will find the links to register for the upcoming webinars included with your membership.
Viewing NAMAS Webinars - Live NAMAS webinars are presented using our webinar Platform, GoToWebinar. Once you register for a webinar, you'll receive an email from GoToWebinar confirming your registration. This email will include the date and time of the webinar, along with the link you'll need to join the presentation. You'll receive an additional confirmation email both 24 hours before and 1 hour before the scheduled webinar start time. It is recommended that you join webinar sessions from your computer. Upon joining the webinar session, you will be able to download the .pdf handouts for the session from the controller visible on your screen. At the scheduled start time, our webinar instructor will be introduced. Throughout the session, you'll be able to type and submit a question to the webinar presenter to be addressed at the end of the session, time permitting.
Viewing NAMAS Webinars - OnDemand We understand that not everyone can attend webinars as they are presented live. As such, each NAMAS webinar is recorded and made available in an ondemand format for viewing at your convenience. Per AAPC rules, if you attend an ondemand webinar, you must take a 10 question CEU quiz and receive a passing score of 70% or higher to obtain CEU credit. Links to our webinar recordings along with CEU quizzes (once available) are placed within the Webinar Library section of our membership platform.To access, navigate to the Webinar Library section of the membership platform (Upon logging into the membership portal, hover over the 'Webinar Library' section from the horizontal teal menu). Select the webinar library page for your specific membership level, and there you will find links to previously presented sessions. Note: Not all sessions have CEU credit available but are provided for educational purposes. Receiving CEUS for Webinars If you attend a webinar session live, you will receive an email 24 hours after the live presentation which includes a link to the webinar recording, session handouts and a link to a speaker survey. Upon completing the speaker survey, your CEU certificate will be available to you electronically. If you register for but are unable to attend a webinar session live, you'll receive an email 24 hours after the live presentation which includes a link to the webinar recording, session handouts and a link to the CEU quiz. You must complete the 10 question CEU quiz with a successful score of 70% or higher to receive CEU credit. Upon passing the CEU quiz, your CEU certificate will download.
